What can cause a commercial refrigeration temperature problem?

A temperature problem can begin with the controls, airflow, defrost system, fans, coils, drains, electrical supply, or refrigerant circuit. The equipment needs to be diagnosed before the repair is chosen.

Yes. United repairs faults, installs commercial refrigeration equipment, and provides maintenance. Service can include filter replacement when the equipment uses a serviceable filter, and United offers preventive-maintenance agreements. What should happen while food is getting too warm?

The FDA Food Code uses 41 degrees Fahrenheit or below for cold holding of time and temperature control for safety food. Follow your operation's food-safety plan and local rules while the equipment is being checked. A service call does not replace the decision about whether food can be kept or served.

What should you send with a service request?

Share the current temperature, when it changed, the equipment type, and any ice, water, noise, or unusual cycling. A model number or photo can help when it is easy to reach, but you do not need one to start.
